About Ania S
UCL Economics student teaching Maths, English and economics
My goal is to make learning fun and engaging. I like to cover topics students find more challenging by gauging how much they already know. I aim to help students gain self-confidence in using the methods they have seen in school. I am happy to go through example questions but then ask that students lead me through it rather than me giving the answers for a more active learning experience. It will be a very tailored lesson to exactly what the student struggles with, providing multiple explanations if needed and then providing examples.
I am a BSc Economics student at UCL, specialising in macroeconomics and statistics. I have 4 A levels in Mathematics A*, Further Mathematics A, Economics A* and Polish A*.
I have experience in tutoring GCSE students in Maths and Statistics as well as younger pupils in primary school.
I make sure to vary and adapt my teaching techniques to fit the individual needs of every student to bring out the best in every person I teach.
