Hello :) My name is Lizzie I am a social extrovert who enjoys the company of others and loves seeing people grow and thrive. I have a grade 5 in both Piano and Clarinet with 10+ years playing piano and clarinet. As well as 7+ years experience playing clarinet in orchestras within the UK at Sutton Music Service. This also included going on tour around a different country in Europe every year for 4 years. I am graduating in July of this year for a 3 year BA Product Design course at Middlesex University with the minimum expected grade of a 2/1. I have studied Product Design since GCSE and have experience in adobe and 3D software such as SolidWorks.
Currently I am looking for online work only.

In 2014 I was also a part of Sir Simon Rattle’s Young Orchestra for London. We performed at the Barbican and Royal Festival Hall as well as one of the performances being put on TV. I also worked with members of the London and Berlin Philharmonic Orchestras, where I developed a variety of skills. As well as being a part of the Young & Gifted programme for Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Soho. Where I performed an improvised jazz piece on clarinet. Playing in an orchestra has taught me the importance of teamwork as well as organisation. I have had to work with large groups of people and organise my section in order to make sure that everybody knew what they are playing and when. Being a part of various orchestras has also developed my leadership skills as well as time management skills. I juggled being a part of different orchestras while completing my GCSE’s, as well as going through major spinal surgery at said time.

As well as music and design I have also enjoyed writing poetry, in 2017 I entered a poetry competition, with a poem I wrote called “Intellectual by Letter”; a reflection on the pointlessness of exams. It was published by Young Writers in Busta Rhyme - Hopes and Fears.
I am a social extrovert and enjoy meeting, working, and getting to know new people. When I am not socialising I am most likely drawing or strumming at a guitar. I have always enjoyed drawing and find it calming as well as exciting when seeing myself progress with time and practice.
