I hope you are well!
My name is Fatima and I offer private tuition for History, Politics and Philosophy A-Levels. I operate in both London and Luton however travel is subject to my availability. Please contact me for more information regarding location and travel.
Note that due to the Covid-19 pandemic all teaching will take place online!!
I achieved AAA in History (Edexcel), Government & Politics (Edexcel) and Philosophy (AQA) A-Levels.
I now study Politics and International Relations BSc at University College London (UCL).
During my gap year, I worked as an Academic Improvement Mentor in the fields of Politics, History and Psychology at Luton Sixth Form College. My everyday routine consisted of tutoring A-Level students in both one-to-one and group settings.
As well as this, I worked as the Co-ordinator for the Advanced Learning Programme for High Achievers (ALPHA) and therefore have experience with non-academic mentoring. Part of my role as Co-ordinator was to help high achievers hone their interpersonal (soft) skills, confidence and self-belief.
Finally, I also offer guidance with personal statement writing and have conducted several interview practice sessions in preparation for Oxbridge and other university interviews.
