Experienced Secondary French & german teacher
I have been teaching French and German for 3 years after completing my PGCE in 2019. I did my PGCE through the School Direct programme meaning that I have lots of classroom experience. Prior to this I worked as a Lecturer in Travel and Tourism at a college for 2 years. I love teaching and I have learnt to adopt different teaching styles to match the needs of the learner. I also have a strong knowledge of the English Language and good Maths skills which are needed to become a teacher.
I studied French and German at the University of Aberdeen which means that I have excellent communication skills as well as strong research and essay writing skills. Following my studies, I worked as an English Teacher in a Primary School in Hong Kong for a year, I then worked as an Air Stewardess based in Abu Dhabi and a Ski Rep based in Austria.
I find that my dynamic background and friendly personality helps to motivate students and I hope to inspire them to take the opportunities that are available to them, as I have.
